805 Writers’ Conference Agents 1|on|1 program is an opportunity for registered conference attendees to meet agents and publishers, and to receive individual feedback on their writing. Six agents and two publishers will review, evaluate, and discuss the writer’s work. This is an opportunity for a 10-minute discussion with an agent or publisher who represents the writer’s genre and is looking for new works.

Each writer submits the first five pages of their manuscript plus a one-page synopsis and only to an agent or publisher looking for that genre. Click here for a list of general genres.

Only registered attendees for the conference may participate. Attendees who purchase full weekend, full day passes or one of the workshops will be given priority for the 12 interview slots per agent.

  • Angela Rinaldi of the Angela Rinaldi Literary Agency, wants fiction in the New Adult, upmarket women’s fiction, multicultural, historical, and nonfiction in business, health and lifestyle
